Cheers!

Vida Mia is a Latina-owned and operated experiential and consulting company. We create positive spaces that celebrate community and traditions.

This cultural connection is brought to life by designing guided experiences anchored in beverages that connect you back to heritage. All five senses are evoked in our events. Vida Mia sources materials and talent by using local suppliers, vendors, restaurants, artists, and BIPOC- owned businesses to execute each activation. Our past clients include working with Employee Resource Groups from companies at Google, NASDAQ, McDonald’s, Getty Images, and Crate & Barrel.

From the initial discovery call to the execution phase, your next team-building and community event will feel good for the soul.

Vida Mia Guides:

Each guide carries a story and is a keeper of tradition.

  • Argelia Martinez

    Founder & Principal

With a pen in hand on New Year’s Eve in 2017, Argelia asked herself “If money wasn’t an issue, what would you do.” She built Vida Mia in 2018 as an ode to her Mexican-American heritage while pursuing her heart’s desire that year as a yogi teacher and marketing comms advisor. With support and guidance, Vida Mia has today grown into an experiential company anchored preserving traditions.

  • Lauren Salazar

    Cultural Brand Strategist

“Pacencia quiere la vida.” Lauren’s quote from her Guatemalan grandpa “Patience loves life” is part of Vida Mia’s value system. Lauren’s patience and strategic counsel have been instrumental to Vida Mia’s growth. Lauren joined in August 2022 as a cultural brand advisor to the founder and to our clients.

  • Jessenia Martinez

    Production

A proud Pilsen resident in Chicago and marketing diva, Jessenia joined Vida Mia as a brand ambassador in August 2022 leading pre-production and activation for clients while supporting content development. Her secret weapon is being kind and a dog whisper.
